The song and dance celebration week is tied together by a concert and dance party, where you can enjoy local traditions and culture from around the world.
The audience will be treated to a musical experience by the Baltic Youth String Orchestra. At the evening dance party, the Folklore Club Maatasa will perform and teach dances from various cultures. The evening will be hosted by Jalmar Vabarna.
Entry to the concert and dance party is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is available as long as there are seats! Be sure to set aside time for the evening event so you can enjoy it with other festival-goers.
The event is preceded by “Laia ilma peal” concerts in the heart of Tartu from 12-2 pm and 5-7 pm.
