Tartu Song Celebration “Õnn ja rõõm” will take place on Saturday, June 22, at 6:00 PM at the Tartu Song Festival Grounds. The celebration will feature approximately 10,000 singers and musicians, including children’s, youth, boys’, men’s, women’s, mixed, and combined choirs, as well as brass bands. The event will last approximately 4 hours.

Important Information

  • For guests with hearing impairments have seats at the front of Sector D (see site map). The concert will be translated into Estonian sign language on-site. This sector is located in front of the stage, on the side facing the radio building.
  • For guests with visual impairments have seats at the front of Sector D (see site map). The concert will be made accessible to visually impaired guests through descriptive translation. This sector is located in front of the stage, on the side facing the radio building. Assistance and guide dogs are welcome at the celeberation.
  • For guests using wheelchairs, a designated wheelchair area is provided in front of Sector A (see site map). This area also includes seating for a companion. It is recommended that guests using wheelchairs use Entrance B, located on Tähtvere Street, as it is the closest to the sector and has accessible parking nearby.
  • There are accessible restrooms in the Tartu Song Celebration building and near the food and commercial areas (see site map).

Tickets

The ticket price for guests with special needs is the same as the discounted ticket price, depending on the pricing period. A companion assisting a guest with special needs can attend the festival for free. To obtain a free companion ticket, use the discount code “saatja” and select the appropriate ticket type. The companion ticket is valid when entering together with the guest with special needs, upon presentation of their disability card.

Additional Information

  • Accessibility volunteers will be present at the venue to help with any questions that may arise.
  • The organizer does not provide a volunteer to assist guests with special needs in accessing the food and shopping areas or in obtaining necessary items from these areas. Please note that this role must be fulfilled by the sender.

Deposit System

  • For environmental reasons, the Tartu Song Celebration uses a deposit system for dishes and utensils. This means that when purchasing food or drinks, a deposit of 2 euros must be paid, which can be refunded upon returning the used items to the nearest return point.
  • Deposit return tents are located near Entrances A and B (see site map), where the deposit will be refunded in cash.
  • Additionally, there are automatic return points throughout the festival area (see site map) that refund the deposit to a bank account within 5 business days.
